The acquisition of Duisburg-based Atlas Air Film + Media Service GmbH in June 2004, London-based Inflight Productions Ltd. in November 2005, Montreal-based DTI Software Inc. in January 2008 and Mumbai-based Fairdeal Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. in August 2008 enabled Advanced Inflight Alliance AG to become the leader in the niche market of inflight entertainment (IFE). Advanced Inflight Alliance AG is the only listed company operating in this sector. The Group subsidiaries collaborate in the IFE Alliance, a platform that was created for offering comprehensive inflight entertainment content.

This essentially includes audio and video programs (feature films, TV shows, news, sports), games, GUI (graphical user interface) design for Internet applications, and database management for managing the entire inflight entertainment process. The strategy of Advanced Inflight Alliance AG is focused on expanding and consolidating its leading position in the inflight entertainment market both through organic growth and interesting acquisitions.
